Happy 4th of July!

Its almost that time of year, July 4,2008. What a better way to show your independent style than on Independence Day! I know it seems like getting dressed can be a hassle for all of the barbecues, parties and holiday events, but it doesn’t have to be, no matter how much you want to spend, you can still be up to date in all of the latest trends.
One of the biggest things for this summer is lots and lots of volume!!!!!!
Full is definitely in !!!
Whether it be frills, ruffles, bubble skirts, bows, or tuxedo style pants, they all do the same trick.
Then for those who are not so into the "big look" there are plenty of cute frocks. Lightweight dresses and draping are always cute, you can never go wrong with a dress, its only one piece!!!
Now how great is that? Then of course there are people that don't like to dress up as much, and thats cool too, because high waists an new soft blue denim is in full effect!!
Faded and stonewashed denims seem to be the newest fashion trend for the standard blue that we have all grown to love and goes perfect with the vest over tank top.
Very simple and easy, but still comfortable and stylish.
So, what do we wear on our feet, and how do we accessorize? Pretty simple. Big bags are still cool but try a clutch.
Any size will work.
Gladiator shoes, wedges and peep toes, skinny belts, and any choice of jewelry, shades, and/or anything else that compliments your personal style and works for you.
And there you have it!!!!!! The perfect outfit for the 4th of July!!!!!!!!!
You can hit the streets looking like a million bucks without even paying a fraction of the price!!!!!!!!!

Acne’s Season’s Inspiration

Thank you Jonny, co-founder of Acne, for being the force behind Acne Jeans. In 1997 he was inspired to create one hundred pairs of jeans for friends, family and clients. This spawned into what we now know as Acne Jeans, a brand that has rocketed to the top of the a-list celebrities most wanted denim. Acne Jeans has received 5 awards for design, including some of the most coveted Elle’s Designer of the year, and Denim design of the year; which is amazing considering Acne started as a branding company!

Staerk’s Season’s Inspiration
Danish born Camilla Staerk began her design career in London where, she was dubbed by British Vogue “a future star.” Top Shop (London’s version of H&M) has awarded her their New Generation Award three times. She has since relocated to New York, introducing new, more American ideas to her clothes, while maintaining her “Staerk-ness.” Inspired by suburban America in the early 1990’s, Walk With Me, her Spring/ Summer 2008 collection, is Camilla Staerk’s first official American collection. Drawing ideas for colors and silhouettes from a high school girl’s wardrobe, this collection plays with innocent colors mixed with
restricting fabrics. An unexpected blend of textures and shapes brings a womanly
air to this girlie collection.

Season’s Inspiration
It was the golden era of “Swinging London” when everything, fashion, photography, art and music blossomed as never before. A flower power style, hippie-chic spice, made of patchwork, montages, a predominance of graphic elements, and a tribute to Ossie Clark, a key figure in the Sixties and Seventies. This was the world of photographers, designers and celebrities, fascinated by Twiggy and rock star Mick Jagger, that pioneered and interpreted the Seventies style. This sissirossi collection is inspired by some of the works created by Clark together with his wife Celia Birtwell, a textile designer. Images of nature matched with warm tone solid colors, flowery stylized subjects characterized by a border of dark colored contrasting color.
